‘Squid Game’s Heo Sung Tae Tests Positive For COVID-19

Sad news has been delivered regarding actor Heo Sung Tae, who was gaining popularity with ‘Cocaine Dance’.

On February 11, Heo Sung Tae‘s agency, Han Ah Reum Company, announced through an official statement that Heo Sung Tae tests positive for COVID-19.

The agency said, “After close contact with a confirmed person on February 10, actor Heo Seong Tae tested positive for the self Kit test, and immediately proceeded with a PCR test, and today (11th) was confirmed with COVID-19.”

“The actor had completed the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine and was about to receive the third dose. All currently scheduled activities have been suspended.”, the agency continued.

According to the agency, Heo Sung Tae is currently showing no symptoms and is being quarantined in accordance with the guidelines of the health authorities.

Heo Sung Tae, who debuted as an actor after appearing in SBS’ ‘Audition of Miracles’ in 2011, made his face known by appearing in movies ‘Spying‘, ‘Namhansanseong‘, ‘Crime City‘, and ‘Rampage‘. He gained worldwide popularity by appearing as a gangster on Netflix’s ‘Squid Game‘.

Recently, he appeared on ‘SNL Korea Season 2’ and perfectly digested the cocaine dance, collecting topics.
