Girls’ Generation fans are upset After BTS Jungkook was nominated for an “iHeartRadio Music Award,” Tiffany’s victory has been forgotten

Both artists should be praised for what they have done.

On January 11, 2023, the nominees for the 2023 iHeartRadio Music Awards were announced.

Some of the most famous artists in the world were honored for their amazing contributions to music over the past year.

There were nominations for stars like Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, Lizzo, Drake, BLACKPINK, and more.

BTS as a group was chosen to compete for two awards: “Best Music Video” for their song “Yet to Come” and “Best Fan Army” for their official fanbase, which is called “ARMY.”

Jungkook, the maknae (the youngest member of a group in Korean), got a lot of attention for his work on the hit song “Left and Right” with Charlie Puth. The two people were also up for “Best Music Video.

Then, some news sites said online that he was the first solo K-Pop artist to be nominated for an iHeartRadio Music Award.

Fans of Girls’ Generation’s Tiffany Young were upset by the news, but they were wrong because Tiffany had won the “Best Solo Breakout” award at the same show in 2019.

Some fans said that erasing Tiffany‘s accomplishment was even more frustrating because the singer’s 2019 win was a huge step forward for both Asian and female artists.

Both singers’ accomplishments should be praised and not be forgotten.
