Actor Hyun Bin has been reported to take on a leading role in the drama “Made In Korea,” directed by Woo Min Ho and produced by Hive Media Corp.
The drama is set to be a sequel to the 2018 hit crime/action film “The Drug King,” which featured Song Kang Ho, Jo Jung Suk, and Bae Doo Na.
“The Drug King” depicted a true story of drug figures reigning underground in Korea during the 1970s and received critical acclaim.
The upcoming drama “Made In Korea” is named after the drug created and distributed by the character Lee Doo Sam in “The Drug King.”
The drama is expected to continue exploring the criminal world introduced in the film.
