The occult mystery thriller “The Nuns,” directed by Kwon Hyuk Jae, is scheduled to begin production on February 22.
Serving as a sequel to the 2015 hit film “The Priests,” this movie follows a devoted clergy group on a mission to save a young boy from demonic possession.
The film stars Song Hye Kyo as Sister Eunia, who remains determined to save the possessed soul when everyone else has given up.
Jeon Yeo Bin joins the cast as Sister Michaela, a nun who chooses to follow Sister Eunia. Lee Jin Wook portrays Father Paolo, both a priest and a psychiatrist, and veteran actor Heo Jun Ho takes on the role of Father Andrea, selected to lead the exorcism ceremony.
Moon Woo Jin plays the young boy possessed by a demon, named Hee Jun. The film promises to be an intriguing occult thriller with a strong cast.
