Kim Chae-won, former member of the girl group IZ*ONE , is looking for fans as a new girl group member under the umbrella of HYBE LABELS.
According to Star News’ exclusive coverage on August 17th, Kim Chae-won is expected to sign a contract with HYBE LABEL.
Kim Chae-won from Woollim Entertainment is expected to be part as active member of the new girl group under HYBE x Source Music and a confidential agreement was in discussion between the two companies.
The said girl group will consists of 5 members, 2 or 3 members expected to be from IZ*ONE . Although the line up is not yet finally selected, expectations are the cast members who appeared on ‘Produce 48’ are also likely to be selected as members.
Japanese member Sakura is also in the process of joining the girl group, but delayed due to difficulties in negotiations with HYBE and the Japanese side.
If this girl group is launched as planned , it is expected to gather great expectations in Korea, Japan and the global K-pop market.
On the other hand, IZ*ONE , which received a lot of love in Korea and Japan, disbanded at the end of April. Kwon Eun-bi, who was the leader, will release her first solo album on the 24th and will be the first runner of ‘Post IZ*ONE’.
Choi Yena also plans to release a solo album in the second half of this year.
