Kim Taehyung, also known as V from the band BTS, has been captured in a stunning photoshoot by renowned artist HEDI SLIMANE.
This portrait series for fashion luxury brand CELINE showcases V as their latest global ambassador. With HEDI SLIMANE overseeing every detail, from concept to styling and photography, the campaign photos capture the essence and aesthetics of CELINE.
Taehyung effortlessly embodies the brand’s chic and refined style, sporting a Western shirt, leather jackets, slim-fit slacks, and accessories.
HEDI SLIMANE, who has previously worked as a photographer and creative fashion director for Dior Homme and Yves Saint Laurent, began collaborating with CELINE.
Taehyung, on the other hand, has long displayed a keen interest and talent in photography, often sharing his own work and paying homage to his favorite photographers.
Back in 2017, Taehyung shared a set of photos titled “Vedi Slimane Diary,” in tribute to “Hedi Slimane Diary,” expressing his admiration for the artist.
Despite a three-year pursuit, CELINE was unable to collaborate with Taehyung in the past due to BigHit Music’s strict “group only” policy.
However, with the announcement of a group hiatus in 2022 to explore individual careers, the opportunity finally arose.
Taehyung eagerly embraced the chance to work with HEDI SLIMANE, and over the past year, he has represented CELINE through various magazine covers and brand events.
Working with an artist he deeply admires has been a dream come true for Taehyung, and their shared passion is expected to foster a fruitful and lasting partnership.
