Jessi reveals reason for sharing smoking and plastic surgery experiences, says it’s amusing to keep it hidden

Singer Jessi once again wowed viewers with her genuine charm and unwavering confidence. On October 4th, the YouTube channel “Diggle” released the latest episode of “The Kstar Next Door,” featuring a special guest appearance by Jessi.

During her time on the show, Jessi displayed her exceptional talent for entertainment alongside MC Jonathan. In a video clip from the episode, Jonathan posed the question, “Do you agree that you’re a ‘sexy thug’?”

In response, Jessi confidently proclaimed, “How can we always be sexy? But my mind is sexy. That’s what gives me confidence.”

When asked about photos of her in revealing outfits, Jessi explained, “I wore those outfits in Korea for the Waterbomb event. They were perfect for the occasion,” showcasing her satisfaction with her fashion choices. She then passionately voiced her concerns, saying, “Why is it that men can go shirtless, but women can’t?”

Later in the episode, the topic switched to Jessi‘s history of agency transfers. It was revealed that she was previously signed to P Nation, which is headed by Psy.

However, her contract with the agency expired in July of last year. After a period of working independently without a company, Jessi eventually joined Jay Park’s agency, More Vision. Comparing the two companies, she shared, “P Nation felt like an army, but this agency, More Vision, feels more liberating.” When Jonathan asked her to choose between Psy and Jay Park, Jessi resolutely replied, “I hate them both.” Jonathan commended her on her honesty, stating, “One of the reasons people admire you is because you’re always truthful. You’ve even openly admitted to smoking and having had plastic surgery. Why do you always strive to be honest?” Jessi responded, “I find it amusing to hide things. If I’ve had work done and then appear on TV, my face will look different. But if I say, ‘No, it’s just makeup,’ it’s cringeworthy.”

She went on to say, “Idols claim they don’t smoke, but they end up being caught. This only leads to more criticism. Of course, smoking isn’t good.” Pointing at her chest, Jessi discussed her experience with plastic surgery, stating, “No Korean woman has this size naturally. I had the procedure because I wanted to. I paid for it. Why should I hide it? I like to be bold.”
