“I’m not dating anyone” — BTS’ Jungkook clears up relationship rumors after alleged video leak

BTS‘s Jungkook recently took the time to address questions about his relationship status following the circulation of an alleged sasaeng video online.

The video, initially posted by a netizen, showed someone resembling Jungkook in an apartment with a girl.

Many fans noticed similarities between the apartment and even the appearance of his dog, Bam. However, due to the video’s blurry quality, it was challenging to confirm if it was indeed Jungkook.

On September 2, Jungkook went live on Stationhead to interact with fans. During the broadcast, he noticed numerous comments about his relationship status and felt the need to clarify that he is currently single. He urged fans to stop discussing this topic and emphasized his focus on work.

Jungkook stated, “Everyone, I want to make it clear—I don’t have a girlfriend. I’m not dating anyone. My main focus is my work, so I don’t feel the need to be in a relationship. Please stop talking about it! I am single!

Although Jungkook did not directly mention the video, some fans believe he may be aware of it. He briefly acknowledged a comment suggesting legal action but ultimately chose to spread love among his dedicated ARMY fanbase and advised against giving attention to such matters.

Jungkook added, “There’s no need to take legal action. Let’s just leave it be. Ignoring these things will prevent them from happening. Thank you. I love you, ARMYs. Let’s share love together.”

Jungkook‘s willingness to address rumors and sensitive topics directly has provided comfort to ARMYs, as it deviates from the usual approach where K-Pop companies handle such matters on behalf of their idols.
