While the popular drama ‘Queen of Tears‘ is nearing its finale, its star, Kim Soo Hyun, isn’t taking any breaks. He’s been spotted participating in reserve forces training.
On April 23rd, Kim Soo Hyun dropped a message on the fan community platform Bubble, saying, “Hello there. This is Army Sergeant Kim.”
He continued, “I spent the day meeting 490 new friends since morning. So, make sure you have some meat for dinner tonight.”
This message was Kim Soo Hyun‘s way of letting his fans know about his participation in the reserve forces training. Eyewitnesses also reported seeing him at the training site.
Kim Soo Hyun is currently riding high on the success of the tvN weekend drama ‘Queen of Tears’. The show, which is set to conclude on the 28th, has been receiving nationwide love, with ratings soaring over 21%. Amidst this popularity, Kim Soo Hyun‘s decision to attend reserve forces training has garnered much attention.
Kim Soo Hyun, who recently joined Bubble, has been actively engaging with his fans. His announcement about the reserve forces training has once again caught the public’s eye.
On a side note, Kim Soo Hyun completed his military service in July 2019. He served at the 1st Division Search Battalion in Paju.
His diligent service earned him early promotions from private first class to corporal, and from corporal to sergeant, each a month ahead of schedule.
