In a surprising turn of events, Kim Chung Hoon, father of the renowned actor Kim Soo Hyun, had a hush-hush wedding ceremony today, April 13th. The news was confirmed by a representative from Kim Chung Hoon’s camp who cautiously told NewsEn, “Yes, Kim Chung Hoon did have a wedding ceremony today.”
The Fact reported that Kim Chung Hoon, who is already sharing marital bliss with his wife, Mrs. An, held a small, intimate wedding ceremony at a location in Gangnam, Seoul. The guest list was limited to close friends and acquaintances.
It was reported that Kim Chung Hoon was concerned about the wedding becoming public knowledge and attracting a crowd of guests. He was worried that this might put undue pressure on his family members, including his son Kim Soo Hyun. As a result, Kim Soo Hyun decided not to attend the wedding.
Kim Chung Hoon isn’t just known as Kim Soo Hyun’s father. He made his own mark in the 1980s as a member of the rock band ‘Seven Dolphins’, gaining fame with their hit song ‘Night Pier’. In 2009, he ventured into a solo career with the release of the trot song ‘Oppa Has Come’.
