DAY6‘s Young K has recently unveiled his impressive standing in the realm of copyright royalties.
On the recent episode of MBC’s popular show ‘Omniscient Interfering View’, which aired on April 13th, Young K from DAY6 made a special appearance. His presence sparked an interesting conversation about the hidden wealth in copyright royalties.
Song Eun-i, upon seeing Young K, couldn’t help but express her surprise. “Isn’t Young K a secret royalty king? It’s mind-blowing. He’s right behind (BTS) RM who’s in second place. Even G-Dragon and Zico are trailing behind him in fifth and sixth places. Can you imagine how extraordinary it is to be in third place?”
Curious about his recent work, she asked, “How many songs did you contribute to this time?” Young K responded, “We were involved in writing and composing all the songs this time as well.”
He modestly added, “It seems like the number of songs we’ve worked on determines our ranking in copyright royalties. We’ve been consistently involved in writing and composing all our songs since our debut.” Lee Young Ja couldn’t help but admire Young K’ humble demeanor amidst his success.
