Former SECRET member Song Ji Eun and YouTuber Park We are set to tie the knot in October 2024.
According to reports from the broadcasting industry, the couple will marry later this year, just three months after publicly revealing their relationship in December of the previous year.
Song Ji Eun and Park We shared their relationship announcement on social media, disclosing that they met at church and fell in love at first sight.
The couple has been openly expressing their affection for each other through various shows.
Song Ji Eun mentioned, “I felt that I failed at life but then I gained courage when I saw Park We. I receive affirmation when I spend time with him. I think my life would become more meaningful if I were to live with him, helping each other.”
Park We, a YouTuber behind the channel Weracle, became paralyzed in a falling accident while working at a fashion company in 2014.
Despite facing challenges, he has become a popular YouTuber, using his platform to promote awareness of disabilities and advocate for human rights. He received the ‘Seoul Welfare Award’ in the field of disability rights last year.
Reflecting on his experiences, Park We shared, “The life on a wheelchair is very unique. There is always something you learn from the times of struggle. I gained confidence when I realized I’ve hit rock bottom and I can’t go lower than this. If you all endure the time of struggle, that time becomes a great lesson for your life.”
