End-of-year review topics have been getting a lot of attention on Korean social media lately.
As the number of 4th Gen girl groups grows quickly, K-netizens have been talking about the accomplishments of some famous people in 2023 and choosing who they think is the best 4th Gen girl group.
The results come from comparing a lot of different things, like how much money the band made from concerts, how much Spotify streams, how many Oricon albums they sold in Japan, how well they did on local ranking systems like iChart and Circle Chart, and how well they did on Billboard charts, YouTube and TikTok figures, and more.
NewJeans, IVE, aespa, and LE SSERAFIM are the four girl groups that made it to the top in the end.
What the best 4th Gen girl groups have done internationally
Based on the above conversation, aespa is the top 4th Gen girl group in terms of world tour earnings.
Their “SYNK: Hyper Line” tour sold over 330,000 tickets, which filled up many famous venues in Japan and North America.
