Actress Lee Si Young recently provided an update on her Himalayan journey after causing concern among fans.
She took to Instagram to post a picture of herself in bed wearing a face mask, which was met with reports that she had fainted while hiking in the Himalayan mountains.
In her post, Lee Si Young revealed that she had received medical assistance due to alpine sickness and expressed, “It’s a constant wave of hardship.
The Himalayas aren’t as beautiful or happy as they are in pictures. Of course, it’s these hardships that make the journey’s end so rewarding.
We’re currently enduring and learning about life. Though 3 people from our team couldn’t continue due to oxygen levels dropping below 50, which made it impossible to breathe without an oxygen tank, you all were in our hearts.”
On November 2, Lee Si Young updated her Instagram account with new photos from her journey, putting fans at ease as they saw she was doing alright.
She shared the photos alongside the message, “In spite of everything, we are happy… In the last video clip, I still don’t know what’s being said. We weren’t able to really communicate, and we were saying different things. How have we worked together for 3 years.”
