“Vintage Vibes” Hyeri’s Hairstyle and Forest Backdrop Spark Netizen Nostalgia on “Reply 1988”

Hyeri, the former member of the renowned girl group Girl’s Day and a distinguished actress, has once again captured the hearts of fans with a charm reminiscent of her iconic ‘Reply 1988‘ character.

On October 18th, the 29-year-old actress shared a series of captivating photos on her social media account.

Sporting an ensemble with an overall dark-toned theme and a white bag as a striking accessory, Hyeri effortlessly commanded attention.

However, it was her timeless beauty that stood out the most, evoking memories of her character Sung Deok-sun from the beloved tvN drama ‘Reply 1988,’ which aired in 2015.

In the photos, Hyeri showcased a tidy short hairstyle with full bangs, emphasizing her petite face.

Against a backdrop of a serene forest, she emitted a dreamy gaze, creating an enchanting atmosphere and highlighting her charming features.

Netizens flooded the post with praise, expressing sentiments such as “She’s so beautiful,” “Black suits her well,” and “Seeing her hairstyle makes me think of 1988!”

The actress had previously made headlines in late August when she exposed mistreatment by an overseas airline.

Hyeri revealed, “I made a reservation a month and a half ago, and I even pre-assigned my seat. However, they downgraded me to economy class, claiming there were no first-class seats available,” publicly criticizing Delta Air Lines on her social media account.

The controversy sparked public outrage, prompting Delta Air Lines to offer an explanation. They stated, “During the process of changing to a smaller aircraft model, some customers who purchased first-class seats were unavoidably accommodated in economy class.”

The airline issued a formal apology and implemented refund measures.

In other developments, Hyeri recently wrapped up filming for the movie ‘Victory.’ The film revolves around the dance duo ‘Pilsun’ (played by Hye-ri) and ‘Mina’ (played by Park Se-wan), who establish the cheerleading club ‘Millennium Girls’ at the end of the millennium in the southern tip of Geoje.

The story is dedicated to dance and music, portraying a passionate cheerleading competition.

Additionally, it’s noteworthy that Hyeri is currently publicly celebrating her sixth year of dating actor Ryu Jun Yeol (37). Their relationship remains a subject of interest among fans.
