The actress recently did a YouTube video with her current co-star, Park Seo Joon, in which she talked about how she became an actress in a way that most people wouldn’t expect.
According to reports, Han So Hee talked about how she got her start in the entertainment business. She said she used to just spend her 20s hanging out with friends and working part-time jobs to make ends meet.
She talked about her time working at a bar, where she worked 12-hour shifts and made 1.8 million won (~1,370 USD) a month.
When she tried modeling and saw that she could make 3 million won ($2,284 USD) by working only two-hour jobs, her career took a different turn.
Unexpectedly, her modeling career led her to a lucrative job offer when she was picked to be in a Ritz Crackers commercial. The job paid her 20 million won all at once, without having to split the money with anyone else because she didn’t have an agency at the time.
