NCT 127’s Korean fans spark debate by not engaging with Yuta during Seoul concert

NCT 127 held their second ‘Neo City – The Unity’ concert in Seoul on November 18th. Amongst the electrifying performances, member Yuta was involved in a controversial moment that has sparked a debate among international fans.

During a segment, Yuta approached the audience with energy but received a lukewarm response from some fans. A video of the incident has gone viral, showing Yuta extending his microphone to engage with fans, who were more focused on capturing moments of other members, inadvertently ignoring the charismatic idol.

This incident has led to discussions about the perceived lack of respect from some of NCT 127‘s Korean fans towards Yuta. Fans worldwide have been prompted to reflect on the importance of reciprocating the enthusiasm and energy shared during live concerts, as shown in the circulating social media clip.

Despite this controversy, the concert marked an important milestone for NCT 127, as ‘Neo City: Seoul – The Unity’ was their first solo domestic concert in over a year.

The group entertained a total of 60,000 fans, affectionately known as NCTzens, over two weeks from November 17 to 19 and November 24 to 26.
