Over 60 Famous Actors, including Jung Woo Sung, Hwang Jung Min, and Jung Hae In, Set to Star in Blockbuster Movie

Director Kim Sung-soo expressed his pride in the performances of all the actors in the movie “12.12: The Day.” With an all-star cast, including Hwang Jung-min, Jung Woo Sung, and Lee Sung Min, who are normally seen in lead roles in other films, this movie showcases their talent together. Additionally, talented actors such as Park Hae Joon and Kim Sung Kyun can be seen in this work.

The film centers around real-life characters who were involved in the December 12 military revolt that had a profound impact on the fate of the Republic of Korea. Special appearances by Jung Hae In and Lee Joon Hyuk, who are among the younger actors in the film’s casting lineup, further enhance the movie.

Moreover, besides the aforementioned celebrities, “12.12: The Day” features unexpected actors who add to its intrigue.

The screen is filled with familiar faces for a duration of 140 minutes, as more than 60 actors play important roles and over 100 actors contribute to the storyline.

It’s no exaggeration to say that most male actors from the Korean entertainment industry are involved in this film. One popular actor even played the role of a passer-by manager.

Due to the movie’s basis on real events and people, it was challenging to assemble such a prominent cast. The initial edited version of the film lasted five hours but was eventually shortened to the current 140-minute version.

Watching so many talented actors and actresses onscreen makes the two hours pass by quickly. There are rumors that those who watched the edited five-hour version enjoyed it more than the released version.

If the movie becomes a hit, there may be a director’s cut or an extended version in the future.
