Actor Nam Joo Hyuk Earns Praise for Consistent Looks and Better Acting in New Show ‘Vigilante’

Vigilante”, which stars Nam Joo Hyuk, is generating a lot of attention from drama fans, despite the actor currently serving in the military.

The release of the new drama has already made headlines, and after airing just two episodes, “Vigilante” has received positive reviews and is projected to become another hit on Disney+, following in the footsteps of “Moving” and “The Worst Of Evil”.

According to Kinolights on November 9th, “Vigilante” topped the popularity rankings on Disney+. The drama has also achieved a rating of 7.6/10 on IMDB for its first two broadcasts.

Viewers have been especially impressed by the cast’s flawless performances and the captivating action scenes.

Vigilante” tells the story of Kim Ji-yong (played by Nam Joo Hyuk), a model student from the police academy who upholds the law during the day but transforms into the masked ‘Vigilante’ at night to bring justice to criminals who have escaped punishment.

The motivation behind his alter ego can be traced back to a tragic event in his past when his mother was brutally murdered and her killer only received a three-year prison sentence.

This marks the actor’s first foray into the action genre since his debut in 2009. Despite venturing into new territory, Nam Joo Hyuk has managed to exceed expectations with his exceptional acting skills.

Nam Joo Hyuk has faced criticism in the past regarding his acting abilities, but his performances in “Twenty-Five Twenty-One” and now “Vigilante” have demonstrated remarkable improvement.

It is worth mentioning that Nam Joo Hyuk originally rose to fame as a model before pursuing his acting career. He made his first appearance in AKMU‘s music video for “200%” in 2014.
