“It’s alarming, so I have to do it” — Actor Park Bo Gum shares why he started Instagram

Park Bo Gum recently revealed the reason behind his decision to join Instagram during an interview on October 14th. The interview was shared on “Esquire Korea’s” YouTube channel.

When asked about what he’s been up to lately, Park Bo Gum said, “I’ve been busy filming the drama ‘You Have Done Well,’ and I’m also gearing up for a musical called ‘Let Me Fly.’

The actor, who had recently visited Paris, mentioned that he enjoys spending his free time exploring museums, art galleries, and nearby parks for leisurely walks.

Explaining why he decided to create an Instagram account after previously using Twitter, Park Bo Gum said, “I noticed a rise in fake accounts impersonating me. I’m not really active on social media, but I didn’t want fans to get confused. So, I decided to start an Instagram account to prevent any confusion or chaos.”

Known for his mirror selfies, Park Bo Gum admitted, “I’m not the best at taking regular selfies. When I look in the mirror, it feels more natural and comfortable, and the photos usually turn out well.”

When asked what he thinks when he sees himself in the mirror, he humorously replied, “Do I look really handsome? Sorry for that,” sparking some laughter. He also mentioned that he loves all parts of his face, including his eyes, nose, and lips.

Park Bo Gum recently held his first fan meeting in four years. He shared, “I felt nervous about two hours before the performance started. “

He added, “On the first day, I wasn’t satisfied with my performance, and I felt sorry for the fans. But on the second day, I decided to forget about the past and just enjoy the moment. I worked hard to create good memories with my fans.
