“I wrote a song while having sex” Charlie Puth, made a very shocking confession in an exclusive interview

In anticipation of his highly-anticipated return to Korea after a five-year hiatus, American singer-songwriter Charlie Puth (31) finds himself at the center of a media firestorm following an unexpected bombshell statement.

The New York Post reported on the 14th (local time) that Puth divulged intriguing behind-the-scenes stories about his music in a recent interview with the renowned magazine ‘Interview’ on the 13th.

During the interview, Puth stunned fans by confessing that one of the tracks on his latest album, ‘Charlie,’ titled “Marks on Your Neck,” was actually composed during a sexual encounter.

I wrote the song in the middle of a sexual encounter. I should have focused more on the relationship, but the melody suddenly came to my mind. So I stopped the sexual encounter, recorded it on a voice memo, and then continued the relationship,” Puth revealed candidly.

The singer-songwriter went on to explain the inspiration behind the unconventional creative process, saying, “That’s how the melody was born. I was overcoming a breakup with someone and wondered if there could be a better way than meeting someone new. I thought, since I accepted this person, it’s okay. Everything is about experiences. Just like waking up in the morning, seeing a mark on your neck, and watching it heal and disappear every day, the person who caused me pain was the same. And we went our separate ways.”

Adding to the astonishment, Puth took the opportunity during a subsequent phone call with the New York Post to reveal another personal detail that raised eyebrows.

He confessed that he has a penchant for being naked and frequently finds solace in relaxing au naturel in his backyard.

Meanwhile, fans eagerly await Charlie Puth‘s long-awaited comeback to the Korean stage. Having previously held successful concerts in 2016 and 2018, the talented artist will finally be gracing the Olympic Park KSPO Dome once again on October 20th and 21st for his first performance in five years.

Ticket sales for the highly anticipated event will commence on the 30th of this month at 12:00 p.m. through Yes24 Tickets and Interpark Tickets, offering fans an opportunity to secure their spots for what promises to be an unforgettable concert experience.
