K-netizens claimed that the person who Harassed BTS Jin during His ‘Hug Event’ was Allegedly a Japanese Blogger

A controversy has erupted after a fan allegedly attempted to kiss BTS Jin during a discharge celebration event on the 13th.

On the 15th, photos circulated on social media showing a post purportedly written by a Japanese fan who claimed to have kissed Jin during a fan meeting event titled ‘Hug Event’ held to commemorate his discharge.

In the blog post written in Japanese, the author described the encounter, stating, “My lips touched his neck. His skin was incredibly soft,” which sparked significant attention and debate.

Some online users speculated that the person involved might be a Japanese blogger known for controversial remarks about BTS members in the past.

The incident has stirred criticism among BTS fans, both in Korea and internationally, with concerns raised over what some perceive as inappropriate behavior.

In response, a BTS fan identified as A has reportedly filed a complaint through a national petition system in Korea, seeking investigation under the Sexual Violence Punishment Act.

During the ‘Hug Event’ at Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium in Seoul, where Jin interacted with 1,000 fans as part of the ‘2024 Festa’ event, there were instances of fans attempting to kiss him on the face.

Despite initial surprise, Jin continued to meet with fans warmly.

Jin recently completed his military service in the Army’s 5th Infantry Division in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi Province, being discharged on the morning of the 12th.
