‘Lovely Runner‘ star Byeon Woo Seok couldn’t hold back his tears as he shared memories of his late grandmother.
On the latest episode of the TV show ‘You Quiz on the Block‘ aired on May 22, Byeon Woo Seok, known for his role in the drama ‘Lovely Runner,‘ appeared as a guest.
During the show, Byeon Woo Seok opened up, saying, “I always aimed to succeed and buy a nice house.” He went on, “But the house we lived in was small and inconvenient. My grandma found it hard to climb the steep stairs, especially during snowy winters. I wished for a cozier place rather than just a fancy one.”
Byeon Woo Seok cherished his bond with his grandmother and confessed, “We shared a room and slept together. Sometimes, I feel guilty for not thinking of her every day amidst my busy life. But when things go well for me, she crosses my mind.” He reminisced about their old home, describing its layout and recalling precious moments.
Reflecting on his grandmother’s illness, he shared, “There were tough times, like when she fell sick. Despite being tired from my studies, I wish I had spent more time with her. But I missed that chance for a bit of convenience.” His voice trembled as he admitted his biggest regret.
Byeon Woo Seok tearfully expressed, “I still feel her presence beside me. I consider myself lucky, believing her support has brought me this far.”
He fondly remembered how his grandma affectionately called him “little poop puppy,” imagining what she would say if she were here today.
