Red Velvet‘s Joy and rapper Big Naughty are set to deliver a dynamic collaboration with their upcoming duet track.
Scheduled for release on the 15th at 6 p.m., Joy and Big Naughty will unveil their joint project song titled “My Lips…Like Warm Coffee,” featured in the movie ‘The Last 10 Years.’
“My Lips…Like Warm Coffee” presents a modern reinterpretation of the title track from the 2001 co-ed group ‘Shop’s’ 4.5th album.
With Joy and Big Naughty lending their voices, the song undergoes a refreshing transformation for 2024.
Joy, a member of Red Velvet, has garnered global acclaim as a representative artist of K-pop. The group received immense love worldwide with their 3rd full-length album ‘Chill Kill’ released last November.
Additionally, Joy has showcased her versatility as a solo artist through her solo album ‘Hello’ and has contributed to various drama OSTs and project songs.
Meanwhile, Big Naughty is recognized for his unique musical style and trendy persona. His tracks like “Let’s Call It Love” and “Things I Believed Were Love” have gained popularity.
He has collaborated with diverse artists including Jeon Somi, 10cm, B.I, and Bang Yedam, showcasing his versatility through various stages and content.
The movie ‘The Last 10 Years’ narrates a touching love story between Matsuri, diagnosed with a terminal illness at twenty, and Kazuto, who has lost his will to live. Starring Japanese actors Nana Komatsu and Kentaro Sakaguchi, the film was recently re-released, captivating audiences with its heartwarming narrative.
