Riding high on the success wave of tvN’s hit drama ‘Queen of Tears‘, Kim Ji Won is basking in joy.
On May 4th, during the first part of tvN’s ‘Queen of Tears: Miraculous Record.zip‘ broadcast, Kim Ji Won couldn’t hide her excitement as she announced, “I finally got to eat Chapagetti!”
Back in March, Kim Ji Won made an appearance on the YouTube talk show ‘Salon de Lip‘, hosted by comedian Jang Do Yeon. She shared that she had given up her favorite dish for a year to fully immerse herself in her character ‘Hong Hae In‘ in ‘Queen of Tears’.
She said, “I had to wear a variety of outfits and there were many scenes where I had to look my best, so I really took care of myself.”
When Jang Do Yeon asked her, “So, you didn’t have Chapagetti for a whole year?” Kim Ji Won confirmed, “That’s right. I promised myself that I would treat myself to it after the shoot. So, two months ago, I bought Chapagetti to have at home. Sacheon JjapaOO.”
The recently concluded ‘Queen of Tears’ smashed tvN’s viewership records with a whopping 24.9% rating. The drama’s success has catapulted Kim Ji Won to new heights of popularity.
14 years into her career, Kim Ji Won is all set to hold her first solo fan meeting ‘Be My One’ at Shinhan Card SOLpay Square Live Hall in Mapo-gu, Seoul on June 22.
But with only 400 seats available, fans are clamoring for more even before the reservations have opened.
