‘Lovely Runner’ Continues to Soar with Record-Breaking Viewership Ratings

Get ready, drama fans! ‘Lovely Runner’ is making waves and breaking its own records, one episode at a time.

Nielsen Korea, the go-to for viewership ratings, has just dropped some exciting news. The 7th episode of tvN’s ‘Lovely Runner,’ which aired on April 29 KST, clocked in a whopping nationwide viewership rating of 4.5% on paid platforms.

This latest rating is a significant leap from the previous episode’s 3.4%, setting a new high for the show.

What’s more, the drama even outdid the metropolitan area’s standard rating, hitting a solid 5.3%.

In the latest episode, viewers were treated to a heart-tugging moment as Im Sol (played by Kim Hye Yoon), a die-hard fan left heartbroken by the loss of her idol Ryu Sun Jae (portrayed by Byun Woo Seok), travels back to 2008 to change her destiny.

Lovely Runner’ is all about second chances and the magic of time travel.

Despite a slow start, ‘Lovely Runner’ has been steadily gaining traction, thanks to the sizzling chemistry between Byun Woo Seok and Kim Hye Yoon and its gripping storytelling. In just seven episodes, the drama’s ratings have shot up into the 4% range.

One scene that had viewers on the edge of their seats was the emotional reunion between Im Sol, who now works at a film production company, and top star Ryu Sun Jae on the Han River bridge after 15 long years.

The teaser for the next episode hints at Ryu Sun Jae discovering Im Sol’s true feelings, leaving fans eagerly waiting for more.

Meanwhile, KBS2’s ‘Nothing Uncovered,’ which aired on the same day, recorded a viewership rating of 2.4%, proving that ‘Lovely Runner’ is the reigning champ in the TV drama landscape.
