On April 12 KST, an exclusive report from a media outlet revealed that aespa‘s Winter is currently undergoing recovery at a university hospital following surgery for spontaneous pneumothorax.
The surgery, which took place on April 11, was reported to have been successful. Winter is expected to take the next month to recuperate while simultaneously preparing for aespa’s upcoming comeback, slated for May.
Despite the setback, she plans to actively participate in aespa‘s world tour, which is scheduled to cover 14 cities from June to September.
Despite her health condition, Winter was recently spotted fulfilling her schedules in Japan, including an appearance with her group on the music program ‘Venue 101’ over the past weekend.
