Actor Kim Min Kyu to quietly enlist in mandatory military service today

Actor Kim Min Kyu, is all set to step up and serve his country.

On April 1st, Kim Min Kyu will be heading off to the training center to start his journey as an active-duty soldier. He’s chosen to keep things low-key, with no official events planned for his enlistment.

His agency, Companion Company, has requested fans’ continued love and support. They expressed their hopes for Kim Min Kyu to complete his military service diligently and return even stronger and more mature.

Kim Min Kyu, who first caught our attention in the 2013 tvN drama ‘Monstar‘, has since become a familiar face. He’s given us memorable performances in ‘Signal‘, ‘Because This Is My First Life‘, ‘Perfume‘, ‘Queen: Love and War’, ‘Backstreet Rookie’, and ‘Snowdrop.

He particularly won hearts with his portrayal of Cha Sung Hoon, the friendly yet loyal secretary to GO Food President Kang Tae Moo, in ‘Business Proposal’ in 2022.

But that’s not all! Kim Min Kyu has also shown us a different side of him. He collaborated with graffiti artist M.Chat for ‘Cat’s Art, Your Art Museum‘, a charity exhibition for stray cats.

Here, he shared photos of his pet cats and his own character sketches. Plus, he’s been showcasing his variety skills as a regular on ENA, Channel S’s ‘I Am Ground‘.
