“He roast them”— LE SSERAFIM’s Singing Criticized by Rapper Owen, Fans React Strongly

Rapper Owen recently stirred up controversy by openly criticizing the girl group LE SSERAFIM for their performance skills.

On March 19, Owen posted a video of his freestyle rap on social media, tagging LE SSERAFIM.

In the clip, Owen can be seen holding what appears to be an airsoft rifle and rapping a remix of LE SSERAFIM‘s song “Easy.”

In his rap, he remarked, “LE SSERAFIM EASY, EASY, It’s no secret that they can’t sing live,” and proceeded to criticize the group’s vocal abilities on various music programs.

He continued with lines like, “I’m the Korean ‘Easy,’ don’t start trouble or I’m going to shoot you all, bang bang bang.”

Netizens who viewed the video had mixed reactions, with some expressing concern and others labeling him as “crazy” or a “troublemaker.”

This isn’t the first time Owen has faced backlash for his controversial statements on social media. In 2021, he made remarks about ITZY‘s Ryujin that were perceived as disrespectful, leading to accusations of verbal sexual harassment from Korean netizens and ITZY fans.
