WOODZ to enlist in the military today: “I believe my 30s will be better than my 20s”

Singer WOODZ, also known as Jo Seung Youn, is enlisting in the active-duty military band and will begin training today (January 22).

After completing basic military training at the recruit training center, WOODZ will serve his national defense duty as a member of the military band.

The details of his enlistment, including location and time, are kept private, and no separate events will be held on the day, as it is a routine military event.

WOODZ‘s agency has requested warm support for him during his military service, expressing hope that he will return with an even more dignified and wonderful appearance.

Before enlisting, WOODZ held his final concert and shared his aspirations, saying, “I want to come back after a year and a half looking just as youthful. I will return with a broader heart. Please take care, and I’ll be back unchanged. I believe my 30s will be better than my 20s, no doubt about it.”

WOODZ, who debuted in 2014 as part of UNIQ and later achieved recognition through the Mnet audition program ‘Produce X,’ has enjoyed success both in group activities and as a solo artist, earning love from fans worldwide for his diverse musical styles.
