There is a heated discussion going on because some fans of a NewJeans member say ADOR is mistreating their bias.
Since their first release, NewJeans has been known as a girl group with a balanced lineup. All five members work well together, making a perfect team that sets trends with their catchy music and new Y2K look.
As a result, NewJeans members rarely overshadow each other, especially since the group has a consistent idea and each member has their own unique style that works well with the others.
Some fans still said ADOR “mistreated” one NewJeans member, though.
A group of Minji fans in China recently gave “evidence” that Minji is “mistreated” and gets less attention than the other four members.
They even sent ADOR emails, a letter of demand, and a protest truck.
This group of fans says that at the most recent MMA in 2023, Minji and Hyein were the only two members who didn’t have their own stage, even though the girl group performed six songs.
Fans also shared pictures comparing the hairdo, makeup, and clothes of different NewJeans members, saying that Minji always gets the least attention.
According to them, NewJeans is a group that likes to try out new makeup styles all the time, like using different colored eye makeup that is detailed and sparkly.
Minji is the only one of the group who always wears basic makeup, though.
Also, Minji always wears her hair long and straight for concerts and promotional pictures, while the other four members change their hair color and style all the time.
Other fans even say that Haerin and Hanni get “special treatment” than the other girls in the group.
They say that Hanni gets a lot of singing roles and is in a lot of music videos and picture shoots.
Haerin‘s look, on the other hand, is the “pick” of the public, so she’s always on hot themes and gets a lot of attention for how she dresses.
Because of this, they think that Minji is often ignored by ADOR, even though she is known for how good she looks.
The fan group has had a lot to say about this subject.
For the most part, people agree that ADOR should not be accused of “mistreating” Minji.
Minji has worked with high-end names like Chanel and has been on the covers of magazines over and over again, even though she has only been famous for a little over a year.
Also, Minji had her own stage at the 2022 MAMA, and these people said that she probably stays with her long, straight black hair because it looks good on her.
