RIIZE member Seunghan from SM Entertainment’s rookie group is facing allegations of underage smoking, according to a recent article on X (formerly Twitter). The controversy has sparked demands from fans for Seunghan‘s withdrawal from the group.
The accusation was made by a Japanese netizen, who claimed that Seunghan smoked a cigarette while walking on the street in Japan when he was still a minor.
Being a foreigner does not change the fact that smoking underage is considered illegal, emphasized the netizen. To support their claims, the netizen also shared a photo of Seunghan smoking and pointed out that the wet tissue on his head was from a restaurant in Japan.
This is not the first time Seunghan‘s personal life has been the subject of rumors. Previously, leaked photos showing him lying in bed and kissing a girl before his debut caused controversy.
Following the incident, Seunghan issued an apology through RIIZE‘s official account, and SM Entertainment announced that they would take legal action against those responsible for leaking the photos and spreading rumors.
