BIGBANG’s Daesung apology to Minzy sparks reactions among netizens, “Is that an apology?”

BIGBANG‘s very own Daesung has extended an apology to Minzy, a former member of 2NE1.

On May 3rd, a video surfaced on the ‘Daesung’s House‘ channel titled ‘Former Colleague and YG Front Talk‘. The video captured a meeting between Daesung of BIGBANG and Sandara Park of 2NE1.

In a recent program, Daesung controversially selected 2NE1 as the group that contributed the least to YG‘s success and singled out Minzy as a member whose absence wouldn’t be felt.

Upon Sandara Park‘s appearance, Daesung seemed hesitant, admitting, “Actually, the first thing… mistake..”. He expressed his regret over possibly upsetting her, especially Minzy, for whom he felt particularly sorry.

When Sandara Park inquired if he had reached out to Minzy separately, Daesung responded with a laugh, “I don’t have Minzy’s contact information.”

In a heartfelt video message to Minzy, Daesung expressed, “I wanted to invite you today. My pretty younger sister. I always feel sorry for Minzy. When Minzy debuted, she was likened to me, Daesung, and I thought that such a comparison would never be a compliment to a woman. If you’re angry, please let it go.”

Daesung‘s apology sparked reactions among netizens, with comments like, “Is that an apology?” and “He could have found out the contact information and apologized at any time, but he used it as content.”
