An exclusive report from a media outlet on November 2 KST reveals that ATTRAKT has made the decision to recruit new members for FIFTY FIFTY Generation 2.
The upcoming second generation of the group will retain the same name and member lineup of four members, with Keena being the only original member from Generation 1.
The news report claims that thanks to Keena‘s choice to return to ATTRAKT and safeguard FIFTY FIFTY, CEO Jeon Hong Jun believes it is worth attempting to “revive” the group’s spark.
Interestingly, despite the ongoing lawsuit controversy between the members and the company, FIFTY FIFTY has recently been nominated in two categories for the ‘2023 Billboard Music Awards’ happening later this month (‘Top Duo/Group’ and ‘Global K-Pop Song’).
Effective October 19, ATTRAKT has officially terminated its exclusive contract with Saena, Sio, and Aran. Meanwhile, Keena has now returned to FIFTY FIFTY‘s dormitory in Seoul and is gradually adjusting back to her normal day-to-day routine.
