Fans upset as manager severely scolds ZEROBASEONE’s Ricky on live stream

Fans are expressing their outrage after ZEROBASEONE‘s Ricky was allegedly harshly scolded by a manager during a live stream.

The incident occurred on October 31, when Ricky was conducting a solo live stream alongside fellow ZEROBASEONE members Gyuvin and Gunwook.

The three members were using separate phones as one phone couldn’t capture all of them comfortably.

During the live stream, Gunwook notified Ricky that management had instructed him to end the stream via KakaoTalk.

In response, Ricky apologized and announced that he had to abruptly end the live stream. However, fans could hear a manager scolding Ricky in the background, criticizing him for not informing the management prior to starting the live stream.

The scolding continued until the other members’ live streams ended. Upset by the incident, fans of ZEROBASEONE and Ricky feel that the management’s treatment of Ricky was excessively harsh and allegedly condescending.

They are calling for WAKEONE, the group’s agency, to take appropriate action in response to the incident.

In addition, some fans have raised concerns that members who are Chinese, like Ricky, may be treated differently by the management. Ricky is a Chinese singer under the agency Yue Hua Entertainment.

This has further fueled discussions and debates among fans. Please share your thoughts on this situation.
