Cho Yeo Jeong Eyes Historical Comeback In Discussion for MBC’s ‘Scent of Plum Blossoms’

Actress Cho Yeo Jeong is reportedly in discussions to take on a role in MBC’s upcoming historical drama ‘Scent of Plum Blossoms’ (literal title).

The series delves into Joseon’s Hyangbang culture, with a focus on the influential Hyangbang Nine, who were trusted confidants to the royal family.

In the drama, Cho Yeo Jeong is said to play the character Park Mi Ryeong, a herbalist who becomes entangled in palace politics after succumbing to temptation.

If confirmed, this would mark her return to historical drama after 12 years since ‘The Concubine’ in 2012.

Returning to MBC after 18 years since ‘So In Love,’ Cho Yeo Jeong‘s potential involvement in ‘Scent of Plum Blossoms’ is generating anticipation, and her comeback to historical drama adds to the excitement.

Apart from the drama, she also has projects lined up, including U+Mobile TV’s ‘Tarot’ and films ‘Hidden Face’ and ‘The Interview.’
