• Park Bo Gum shows a shocking new side with bloodied face and crazy boxing training for upcoming drama

Park Bo Gum is leaving behind his soft, gentle image and making a powerful return!

JTBC’s new Saturday-Sunday drama Good Boy is set to premiere on May 31, and they just dropped a teaser poster that has fans going wild. Park Bo Gum looks totally different — stronger, tougher, and ready for action.

Good Boy is a comic action youth investigation drama. It tells the story of medalists who become police officers through a special recruitment program. Instead of wearing medals, they now carry police IDs around their necks as they fight against unfairness and a world full of rule breakers.

The drama is directed by Sim Na Yeon (Beyond Evil) and written by Lee Dae Il (Life on Mars, Chief of Staff), raising even more excitement.

But what’s really grabbing everyone’s attention is Park Bo Gum’s unbelievable transformation. Known for his roles in Love in the Moonlight, Encounter, and Record of Youth, Park Bo Gum recently impressed everyone on the show My Name is Gabriel. Now, he’s taking on the role of "Yoon Dong Ju," a former national boxing star who becomes a special police officer. He’s ready to throw punches at injustice with his fierce new character!

In the newly released poster, Park Bo Gum stares straight into the camera with blood dripping down his face, his fist wrapped in bandages, veins popping in his neck, and fire burning in his eyes. This powerful look didn’t come easy — Park Bo Gum spent over six months training hard, doing one hour of strength training and two hours of boxing practice every day!

Park Bo Gum also shared his mindset for this new role. He said he focused on "pursuing justice without calculations and protecting good people," unlike those who act without conscience. His passion for the role is clearly showing through.

The production team also praised Park Bo Gum’s hard work, saying, "Good Boy isn’t just another action drama. It’s about young people facing the tough world and choosing their own kind of justice." They added, "Park Bo Gum even gained weight and trained hard to fully become Yoon Dong Ju. You’ll definitely see a side of him you’ve never seen before!"

Good Boy, starring a totally transformed Park Bo Gum, will premiere on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at 10:40 PM KST on JTBC. Get ready to see Park Bo Gum like you’ve never seen him before

  • Taeyeon's Japan concert officially canceled and fans are heartbroken, says: "feels like the show was stolen" Here's Why

Taeyeon’s Tokyo concert has sadly been canceled for good, and both she and her fans are feeling emotional.

On April 29, SM Entertainment shared an official statement confirming that 'Taeyeon Concert – The ODD of LOVE in Japan' will not be happening anymore. The show was originally scheduled for April 19–20 at Ariake Arena in Tokyo.

SM stated, “After the concert was postponed, we did our best to find another venue that could hold the same number of fans and still offer the best performance. But we couldn’t secure a proper venue, so we’ve decided to cancel the concert.”

They also added, “We’re really sorry to all the fans who waited patiently. We checked every possible way to make it happen, but in the end, we had no choice but to make this difficult decision. Thank you for your understanding.”

As for those who already bought tickets, SM said, “You’ll get a full refund. Please check the My Page section or your ticket email on April 30 for more info.”

Taeyeon was supposed to hold her concert in Tokyo as part of her Asia tour. But earlier this month, the concert had to be canceled last-minute due to equipment delays.

After hearing the news, Taeyeon shared her thoughts through her fan communication platform. She said, “When the news about the canceled concert came out, I was really worried about SONE. I didn’t even know what to say.”

She added, “It felt like a concert that everyone worked hard on and looked forward to just disappeared. Like it was stolen from us. I don’t even know how to explain how empty and helpless I feel.”

Fans have been showing their support, saying they’ll continue to wait for her return to Japan.
