The press conference for Teachers Season 2 was unexpectedly canceled just one day before it was set to take place, leaving fans confused and disappointed.
On April 29, the production team of Teachers 2 released a statement, explaining, “Due to unexpected scheduling issues with the participants, we regret to inform you that the online press conference scheduled for April 30 at 11:00 AM will be canceled.”
They added, “We sincerely apologize for the sudden change in schedule and for notifying you so close to the event.”
The team assured fans that while the press conference was canceled, the show would still air as planned. “We will distribute press materials, including written interviews with the production staff, separately. The first broadcast will proceed as scheduled at 7:50 PM on Sunday, May 4. We ask for your understanding and continued interest in the upcoming broadcast.”
The press conference was originally planned to be an online streaming event on April 30. It was supposed to include appearances from key figures such as Kim Seung Hoon CP, Yoon Hye Ji PD, and the star-studded lineup of MCs Jeon Hyun Moo, Han Hye Jin, and Jang Young Ran, alongside the rest of the cast. However, with no further details shared about the “scheduling issues,” fans are left to wonder what caused the sudden cancellation.
For those who don’t know, Teachers is a popular South Korean program where some of the best educators in the country offer personalized guidance and advice to families struggling with their children’s grades. The show is led by MCs Jeon Hyun Moo, Han Hye Jin, and Jang Young Ran, with additional experts such as Yoon Hye Jeong (the “Korean language ace”) and the “Teacher Avengers” team, including Jung Seung Je, Jo Jung Sik, and Mi Mi Mi Nu, who provides “admission strategy” guidance.
Despite the sudden press conference cancellation, the show is still set to air its first episode on May 4 at 7:50 PM. Fans are eagerly waiting to see what new advice and strategies the team will offer this season.
