Super Junior's Kim Hee Chul had a hilarious and awkward moment when his past relationship with TWICE’s Momo was brought up during a broadcast.

On the April 26th episode of JTBC’s Knowing Brothers, the show featured a special “international couples” theme, with guests Kang Joo Eun, Shim Hyung Tak, and Park Joo Ho.

While sharing stories, Shim Hyung Tak talked about how he met his Japanese wife, Saya. He shared, "I fell for her at first sight and kept showing my love for five months until we became a couple."

Then, Shim Hyung Tak casually said, “Back then, I told Hee Chul, ‘I also have a Japanese girlfriend. You used to have a Japanese girlfriend too,’” making the whole studio go completely silent.

Kim Hee Chul immediately looked shocked, turned his head away, and started sweating nervously. Shim Hyung Tak’s comment clearly reminded everyone about Kim Hee Chul’s well-known past relationship with TWICE’s Momo.

Trying to laugh it off, Kim Hee Chul said, “I thought he forgot, but his memory is really good,” but his flustered reaction gave him away. The cast members couldn’t stop laughing, while Kim Hee Chul could only smile awkwardly and wipe his sweat.

For those who don’t know, Kim Hee Chul and Momo publicly confirmed their relationship back in January 2020. Sadly, after about a year and six months together, the two ended up breaking up.
