Actress Go Hyun Jung touched fans' hearts by opening up about her deep feelings for her son.
On April 26, Go Hyun Jung took to social media to share several old photos along with a touching message, saying, "It’s full spring, so I looked for old things."
The photos included a young Go Hyun Jung taking a mirror selfie back in October 1990, showing off her fresh and youthful beauty. Another photo showed her at a swimming pool, lovingly kissing a baby on the cheek — believed to be her son.

She also posted some handwritten notes that revealed her deep thoughts. In one note, she wrote, "I don't like getting close to people. I don't know how to get close to them." Another said, "Out of everything I can do, there’s nothing lovely about me. But among the things that happen naturally from my body, the one I love the most is 'sneezing.'" She also shared, "I really love winter. In winter, gathering together to eat tangerines, drink tea, and cook together. I really miss that."
Go Hyun Jung first shot to fame at age 24 through the hit SBS drama Sandglass in 1995. Right after her success, she shocked everyone by announcing her retirement after marrying Jung Yong Jin, the chairman of Shinsegae Group. The couple had one son and one daughter but divorced after eight years of marriage in 2003.

Later, during her 2009 appearance on MBC’s Golden Fishery - Knee Drop Guru, Go Hyun Jung talked about her marriage and regrets. She shared, "If I had married after becoming a little more mature inside, it would have been better. I feel regret because I think I married too early," and added, "Even if a new love comes, I think I won’t have the same pure passion from back then, which makes me sad."
Last November, she also opened up on tvN’s You Quiz on the Block about her complicated feelings toward her children. "Because we didn’t live together, when I felt a sense of awkwardness and distance from them, I didn’t know that feeling would make me so sad," she confessed. "It was so heartbreaking. It’s something that’s gone, and I can’t fill it up again. I was really upset."
Meanwhile, Go Hyun Jung is set to return to the small screen this September with her new SBS drama Sama Gwi.
