• Fans can’t stop screaming after seeing Byeon Woo Seok and Kim Hye Yoon’s sweet height difference in real-life reunion

Byeon Woo Seok and Kim Hye Yoon are making fans' hearts race again with their latest “couple-like” moment!

On April 19, behind-the-scenes photos from the Lovely Runner 1st anniversary gathering were shared on social media by drama staff. The reunion included director Yoon Jong Ho and stars Byeon Woo Seok, Kim Hye Yoon, Song Geon Hee, Lee Seung Hyub, Song Ji Ho, Seo Hye Won, and Heo Hyeong Gyu.

Among all the cheerful group pics, one specific shot caught fans’ eyes—a candid moment showing Byeon Woo Seok standing close to Kim Hye Yoon. He wore a purple shirt layered under a cozy knit, while she rocked jeans and a cropped black jacket.

The two looked adorable together, showing off a heart-fluttering height difference that instantly reminded fans of their drama romance.

Fans couldn’t help but comment, “Are they filming a drama again or just being cute in real life?” and “They really look like a couple!”

This marks the first time the two actors have been seen together in private since their hit fantasy romance Lovely Runner ended a year ago. The show told the story of a girl named Im Sol who travels back in time to save her favorite idol, Seonjae—played by Byeon Woo Seok.

The drama not only gave fans an unforgettable storyline but also catapulted both actors to massive popularity worldwide.

The reunion of the four lead cast members—Byeon Woo Seok, Kim Hye Yoon, Song Geon Hee, and Lee Seung Hyub—felt like a sweet blast from the past. Fans loved seeing their friendship still strong and their chemistry just as good as ever.

Even though the drama ended last year, Lovely Runner is still going strong. A limited-edition anniversary LP is being released, and Byeon Woo Seok’s OST “Sonagi” recently surpassed 100 million streams on April 16.

The drama is also a major contender at the upcoming 61st Baeksang Arts Awards with Gucci on May 5. It’s nominated for Best Drama, with Byeon Woo Seok up for Best Actor, Kim Hye Yoon for Best Actress, Song Geon Hee for Best New Actor, and Lee Si Eun for Best Screenplay.

As for what’s next—Byeon Woo Seok will star in the new MBC drama 21st Century Lady of the Grand Prince with IU, and Kim Hye Yoon is taking on the lead in the horror film Salmokji, showing her range as she steps into the role of a horror queen.

Looks like fans of Lovely Runner still have a lot to look forward to.

  • Kim Soo Hyun's fans fight back against malicious rumors and international fans join forces to protect him

Actor Kim Soo Hyun's dedicated fanbase is taking action against online hate and false rumors aimed at damaging his reputation.

On April 22nd, the Kim Soo Hyun Fan Union (comprising Daum Cafe Yukaris and DC Inside Kim Soo Hyun Gallery) released a statement announcing they are working to file criminal charges against those spreading harmful slander about the actor.

Their lawyer, Yang Tae Young from Law Firm Siwoo, revealed that they plan to take legal action as soon as this week, filing a formal complaint at the Seoul Seongbuk Police Station. According to the fan union, these online users are violating the Information and Communication Network Act by spreading malicious defamation.

While defamation cases can be pursued by third parties, unlike insults which require the victim to act, the fan union is determined to protect Kim Soo Hyun's reputation. They stated, "This is a voluntary movement to defend the actor’s rights and maintain a healthy fan culture. We won’t tolerate personal attacks disguised as freedom of speech and will take action without hesitation."

The fan union also emphasized that this effort is not just limited to South Korea. International fans have joined the movement, showing support for the cause. The union has gathered solid evidence, including harmful comments, manipulated images, and false posts made over the past few months.

In a related move, Kim Soo Hyun's agency, Gold Medalist, filed a separate report with the authorities on April 15th, condemning the continuous spread of baseless rumors and unverified claims that have been damaging to the actor’s image. They also filed a defamation lawsuit.

This all stems from claims made by the family of late actress Kim Sae Ron, starting in March. Through the Garoseero Research Institute YouTube channel, they alleged that Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Sae Ron were in a relationship from November 2015 (when Kim Sae Ron was a minor) until July 2021. They presented supposed evidence such as handwritten letters Kim Soo Hyun allegedly sent to Kim Sae Ron during his military service and a photo of Kim Soo Hyun kissing Kim Sae Ron on the cheek.

In response, Kim Soo Hyun's agency clarified on March 14th that the actor only began a relationship with Kim Sae Ron after she became an adult, from the summer of 2019 to the fall of 2020. Kim Soo Hyun also addressed the rumors directly during a press conference on March 31st, stating, "I did not date Kim Sae Ron when she was a minor."

The situation continues to unfold, with fans and the actor taking a firm stance against the damaging rumors.
