• BTS’s Jimin breaks his own record on Spotify Korea with ‘Who’ staying at #1 for 269 days straight — Fans say: “he keeps beating himself!”

BTS's Jimin is making history again—and this time, he's beating his own record!

On April 13, it was confirmed that Jimin’s solo track “Who” from his 2024 album MUSE has now stayed at #1 on Spotify Korea’s Daily Top Songs chart for 269 days straight, making it the longest-running #1 song ever in the platform’s history. What’s even more amazing? He just broke the record he already held with his past hit “Like Crazy”, which topped the same chart for 268 days!

Even without any promotions or music show stages, “Who” has stayed strong since its release. It debuted at #1 on Spotify Korea on day one—and it hasn’t moved from the top since.

Fans were already blown away by Jimin’s success with FACE, his 2023 solo album. But MUSE showed another level of his artistry. People are calling this a “record made with heart,” as Jimin's songs continue to connect with listeners emotionally every day.

And it doesn’t stop there. Besides “Who” and “Like Crazy”, Jimin has taken the top spot with three more songs on the Spotify Korea chart:

    • “Angel Pt.1” from Fast & Furious: Tokyo Drift
    • “Set Me Free Pt.2”
    • “Like Crazy (English Ver.)”

With all of these, Jimin has now hit #1 a total of 573 times on the Daily Top Songs chart, the most ever by any artist on Spotify Korea.

He’s also dominating on the artist side! As of April 13, Jimin has:

    • 623 days at #1 on the Daily Top Artist chart
    • 91 weeks at #1 on the Weekly Top Artist chart

Fans are emotional, saying it’s more than just numbers. “Every day it’s the same song at the top, but it hits different every time,” one fan shared. Others praised Jimin for writing music that touches hearts and stays on repeat—not just on playlists, but in people’s lives.

As a soloist and as a member of BTS, Jimin continues to make history. And what started as a question in his song “Who” is now being called “the answer fans want to hear every single day.”

  • Fans lose it after seeing IU, Kim Seon Ho, and more "When Life Gives You Tangerines" stars reunite at one special event

The When Life Gives You Tangerines cast melted fans’ hearts once again — this time off-screen!

On April 15, the VIP premiere of the film Yadang took place at Megabox COEX in Samseong-dong, Seoul, and it quickly turned into a Poksak reunion.

The event was already buzzing with big names like Uhm Tae Woong (who made his first appearance in 8 years), Lee Min Ho, Ha Ji Won, Lee Joo Young, Hyeri, Lee Yu Bi, Kim Sung Kyun, and even Single’s Inferno 4's Lee Si An.

But the surprise appearance of severalWhen Life Gives You Tangerines cast members made fans super emotional.

IU, who played Gwansik’s daughter Geum Myeong in the Netflix series, was spotted quietly entering the theater wearing a mask. A fan who noticed her shared a photo, writing, “Poksak daughter Geum Myeong is here!”

Kim Seon Ho also showed up and quickly got attention. Fans recognized him despite the mask and commented, “Chung Seop is here too!” and “Park Hae Joon’s son-in-law came!” Kim Seon Ho made a special appearance in the series as Geum Myeong’s husband.

Kang Yoo Seok, who played Eun Myeong Yi (Gwansik’s son), also came to support his on-screen dad. Fans left sweet comments like “The son is so thoughtful!”

And of course, Choi Dae Hoon — better known as “Hak Ssi Ahjussi” — made fans smile with his bright energy. People couldn’t stop talking about him, saying things like “He came to see his in-laws’ movie,” and “The whole When Life Gives You Tangerines family is here!”

Before the event, Park Hae Joon shared in an interview with Xports News that he wasn’t sure who would show up, saying, “Everyone’s really busy, so it depends on the situation. But I’d be really happy if we could meet again after a long time.”

Well, they did meet again — and fans couldn’t be happier.

In Poksak, Park Hae Joon played the loving father Gwansik, but in Yadang, he takes on a much tougher role as a drug squad detective who never gives up on catching criminals. His transformation is already gaining attention from fans eager to see him in a new light.

Meanwhile, Yadang officially hit theaters on April 16.
