T-ara's Jiyeon made fans both emotional and relieved with her recent SNS update and appearance at Hyomin’s wedding.

On April 6, Jiyeon shared a video of herself singing Lee Ye Joon’s emotional ballad "Would I Have Felt at Ease That Day".

Her strong vocals and the deep lyrics immediately caught fans' attention, especially since she recently went through a tough time in her personal life.

The song included lines like:

• “You just finished the homework you didn’t do,”
• “I cried as much as the cigarettes you smoked,”
• “Don’t say my words hurt you,”
• “I’m the one who gave you the reason.”

Because of the song’s timing and meaning, many fans believed Jiyeon was expressing her feelings after her quiet divorce from Hwang Jae Gyun.

Jiyeon and Hwang Jae Gyun got married in December 2022 after surprising fans by announcing their relationship and wedding at the same time.

Sadly, just months later, divorce rumors began, and in November 2023, the couple finalized their divorce at the Seoul Family Court.

Since then, Jiyeon had stayed quiet on social media — until March, when she returned with a sweet but short message: “How are u :)”.

Suzy just hit a major milestone — and Park Bo Gum made sure it didn’t go unnoticed.

On May 5, the 61st Baeksang Arts Awards was held at COEX D Hall in Gangnam, Seoul, with Shin Dong Yup, Suzy, and Park Bo Gum returning as the MC trio once again. But this year wasn’t just any regular hosting gig — it marked Suzy’s 10th anniversary as the show’s MC.

Shin Dong Yup kicked off the ceremony by introducing this year’s theme, “Toward, Voyage”, and jokingly said, “We probably can’t be MCs for another 10, 20, or 30 years, but wouldn’t it be nice if we could sail all the way to the 91st Baeksang?”

Suzy added with a smile, “I’m sailing toward the hearts of all the audience members.”

But the sweetest moment came when Park Bo Gum turned to Suzy and said, “Today marks our 10th year together”, before pulling out a beautiful bouquet of flowers to celebrate her 10th year as host. The crowd loved it, and so did Suzy.

Shin Dong Yup then asked Suzy if she remembered her very first time on the Baeksang stage. She said, “Of course I do. I was really nervous because it was my first time, but I was also so happy and excited to be chosen as an MC. Now, 10 years have gone by… and it still feels special, like the first time.”

The warm memories didn’t stop there. Suzy asked Shin Dong Yup about his own first experience, and he shared, “I remember receiving an award here over 30 years ago. I think I’ve been an MC for about 15 or 16 years now.”

He added, “I might’ve looked calm on the outside, but inside, I was always nervous and trembling. But maybe that mix of nerves and excitement is what helped me keep doing this with all of you.”

The 61st Baeksang turned into a night of celebration, not just for the stars being honored — but also for the ones who’ve been guiding the stage for years.
