• T-ara’s Hyomin is getting Married Today to a Finance Guy but Soyeon Won’t Be There and Here’s the Surprising Reason Why

T-ara’s Hyomin is officially tying the knot today!

On April 6, Hyomin (real name Park Sun Young) is getting married in a private ceremony in Seoul. The wedding is only open to close family and friends, keeping it simple and intimate.

Her husband-to-be is known to be a professional in the finance industry, though his identity remains private. Back on March 15, Hyomin shared a gorgeous wedding photo taken by star photographer Hong Jang Hyun, but her groom’s face was carefully hidden. She wrote, “Thank you so much for capturing the happiest day of my life so beautifully. I’ll treasure this forever.”

A couple days earlier, on March 13, Hyomin opened up about her relationship. She sweetly said, “He’s not exactly a perfect handsome man, but to me, he’s really cool. I met someone like that, and now I’m getting married.” She also thanked fans for all their support and added, “I promise my heart toward you won’t change. I’ll continue living as Park Sun Young, sincerely and with effort.”

But there’s one big name who sadly can’t make it to the big day—former T-ara member Soyeon.

Soyeon, who married soccer player Jo Yoo Min, is currently living in Dubai as a newlywed. On April 3, she posted an update on her socials saying she’s been dealing with construction delays and moving issues that can’t be avoided. She wrote, “I won’t be able to attend Hyo Min’s wedding. This month, and probably next month too, I’m stuck living the ‘don’t-move-an-inch’ life.”

Even though Soyeon won’t be there in person, fans are still sending lots of love and congratulations to Hyomin as she starts this exciting new chapter. Congrats to the bride!
