• Kim Bo Ra writes a tearful letter to late Kim Sae Ron on her 49th-day memorial: "You didn’t eat before, now please eat well in heaven"

Actress Kim Bo Ra has shared an emotional message to her late friend Kim Sae Ron, 49 days after her passing.

On April 5, Kim Bo Ra posted a heartfelt letter, remembering the special bond they had since childhood.
"When you were 11 and I was 16, we met at an audition. You kept talking to me like you were fascinated," she wrote. "Then you became a middle schooler, a high schooler… and suddenly, the girl driving around in a car. You loved letters, so I used to write to you even when it wasn’t your birthday—by text or little notes."

She added, "Looking back at our old photos, I realize I was so sentimental. You were the youngest, and you hated the cold. And now it’s raining… Don’t fall, silly. Just take this letter."

April 5 marked the 49th day since Kim Sae Ron’s passing—an important day in Korean tradition where people remember and honor the deceased. The two were so close that they even knew each other’s home passcodes.

Kim Bo Ra also shared a sweet selfie video of the two of them, showing Kim Sae Ron with pink hair. In the caption, she wrote, “Sae Ron, you didn’t eat well because of work… Now eat all your meals before you say anything.” Her words touched fans deeply, showing how much she still misses her friend.

Meanwhile, Kim Sae Ron sadly passed away on February 16 at just 25 years old. After her death, rumors and controversy followed involving Kim Soo Hyun, who was accused of dating her when she was a minor and later demanding a huge amount of money after her DUI scandal.

Kim Soo Hyun finally broke his silence on March 31, saying, “I did not date her when she was underage,” and also stated, “It’s not true that I pressured her into debt or that it led to her death.”

However, the situation continues to stir up emotions. Eight of Kim Sae Ron’s friends are now said to be preparing a statement claiming she really did date Kim Soo Hyun when she was underage.
