Actor Im Siwan has recently made headlines with a surprising move on his social media.
As of 9 a.m. on April 2, Im Siwan, who boasts 3.73 million followers, is now only following his agency, Plum A&C.
This sudden change has caught fans' attention, especially since he was previously following 87 people, including actor Kim Soo Hyun.

The cleanup of his social media following list took place on April 1, and many online communities noticed the absence of Kim Soo Hyun from the list.
The two actors had formed a close bond while appearing together on MBC’s Good Day variety show as part of the "88s" group.
However, rumors recently surfaced involving Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Sae Ron in a controversial relationship when they were minors, causing some fans to call for Im Siwan to distance himself from Kim Soo Hyun.
Though it’s unclear if Im Siwan intentionally removed Kim Soo Hyun from his list, fans and netizens have shared mixed reactions. Some believe this was a smart move, while others find it a little awkward that he’s now only following one account. Comments from online communities have included reactions like, “I think this was a smart move” and “He handled it well.”
In other news, Im Siwan has been making headlines for his charitable efforts. Recently, he donated 30 million KRW to help neighbors affected by the wildfire and another 30 million KRW to children impacted by the earthquake in Myanmar. UNICEF Korea confirmed that the funds would be used for emergency relief, including food, water, and education for children in Myanmar.
Im Siwan’s generosity shows his consistent efforts to make a positive impact, as he has been involved in disaster relief work since 2019. He continues to provide support for those in need, including elderly individuals and households affected by disasters. In his statement, he expressed, “I send my small comfort to children who have lost their homes and are suffering at this very moment. I hope everyone stays safe and that there is no further damage.”
