BTS’s J-Hope has done it again—making waves on the Billboard Hot 100!
On April 1, the latest Billboard chart for the week of April 5 was released, and J-Hope’s new digital single MONA LISA debuted at No. 65. This achievement marks J-Hope’s 7th entry on the prestigious Hot 100 chart as a solo artist, tying him with fellow BTS member Jungkook for the most Billboard Hot 100 entries by a K-pop solo artist.
J-Hope’s journey on the Hot 100 began in 2019 with his hit Chicken Noodle Soup (feat. Becky G), which peaked at No. 81. He continued to make his mark with MORE and Arson from his debut solo album Jack In The Box in 2022. In 2023, his collaboration with J. Cole, on the street, reached No. 60, showing off his consistent success in the solo scene.

But 2024 is shaping up to be even bigger for J-Hope. This year alone, he has made an impressive impact with three tracks on the Hot 100: LV Bag (feat. j-hope & Pharrell Williams) (No. 83), Sweet Dreams (feat. Miguel) (No. 66), and of course, MONA LISA.
Not only is he dominating the Hot 100, but MONA LISA is also making waves on global charts. It reached No. 14 on the Global 200 and No. 9 on the Global (Excl. U.S.) charts, marking his personal best ranking. This is the first time his song cracked the top 10 on the Global (Excl. U.S.) chart, proving his worldwide popularity.
In addition, MONA LISA hit No. 1 on the Digital Song Sales chart and appeared on several other global charts, reinforcing J-Hope’s status as a global music sensation.
BTS members are continuing to show off their solo success, with J-Hope’s Sweet Dreams (feat. Miguel) staying on the Global 200 (No. 41) and Global (Excl. U.S.) (No. 21) charts for three weeks straight. Fellow members Jimin and Jungkook also continue to shine—Jimin's MUSE with the title track Who (No. 45) and Jungkook’s Seven (feat. Latto) (No. 120) have maintained spots on the Global 200, with Who (No. 32) and Seven (No. 65) staying strong on the Global (Excl. U.S.) chart.
With each release, it’s clear that J-Hope, along with his BTS members, is continuing to redefine what it means to be a global star.
