Seo Ye Ji recently got emotional as she talked about the misunderstandings and struggles she faced over the years.
On the March 30 episode of TV Chosun's Heo Young Man's Food Travel, the actress visited Wonju, Gangwon Province, and enjoyed a heart-to-heart talk over a meal.
During their visit to a local restaurant, Heo Young Man noticed her healthy appetite and asked, "How many meals do you eat a day?"

Seo Ye Ji surprised him by saying, "About four! I stay up late, so I get hungry at dawn." He then praised her for maintaining her figure, to which she laughed and admitted, "In my 20s, it was easy, but now that I'm in my 30s, it's not the same anymore!"
As they continued their food tour, Seo Ye Ji reflected on her 12-year career, saying, "I've played a lot of dark roles, especially characters who are deeply hurt and seeking revenge."
She then opened up about the downside of being typecast. "People sometimes assume I’m like my roles in real life, which made it hard to meet people," she admitted. "I stayed silent about it, but I realized that only made the rumors grow even bigger. Over time, it became really stressful."

Heo Young Man advised her, "The best thing to do is avoid reading comments." Seo Ye Ji agreed and smiled, showing her determination to stay positive.
The actress also got emotional when talking about her first fan meeting in 11 years. "It was a chance to finally see the fans I missed so much. Even now, just thinking about it makes me tear up," she said, showing her deep gratitude.
Fans are now sending her words of support, hoping to see more of her in future projects.
