• Park Seo Joon’s old interview resurfaces after cryptic post—Is he really shading Kim Soo Hyun?

Park Seo Joon is caught up in unexpected controversy after netizens speculated that he subtly criticized Kim Soo Hyun in a recent social media post. Now, one of his past interviews is gaining attention again.

Recently, Park Seo Joon shared a post on his personal account saying, "What did I do in Paris? Garo." While it seemed harmless at first, some fans were quick to link it to Kim Soo Hyun.

The reason? Garo Sero Research Institute, a controversial YouTube channel, has been involved in discussions about Kim Soo Hyun and actress Kim Sae Ron.

Adding fuel to the fire, the channel’s head, Kim Se Ui, commented, "YouTuber Kim Paris is being taken down by Garo Sero Research Institute. We will work even harder to clear Kim Sae Ron’s name. Park Seo Joon, fighting!"

Some netizens pointed out that Kim Soo Hyun allegedly called himself Kim Paris during his military days.

Because Park Seo Joon’s post included the words Paris and Garo, many suspected it was a subtle jab at Kim Soo Hyun.

However, Park Seo Joon’s fans were quick to shut down the rumors, saying, "This is such a reach. He’s used 'Garo' and 'Sero' before for photo orientations.", "Not everything has to be connected to drama.", and "People really need to stop dragging Park Seo Joon into this."

Amid the debate, an old interview from Park Seo Joon’s 2023 appearance on tvN’s You Quiz on the Block has resurfaced.

In the episode, he talked about his military service at Cheongju Prison and shared, "When serious crimes happen, only a fraction of them actually make it to the public. I saw many people who showed no remorse."

He added, "One thing that shocked me was the sheer number of crimes committed against minors. It was so disturbing that I decided—if I ever become successful, I want to do something that can help children."

As this past statement gains attention again, netizens remain divided. Some believe it further supports his stance against certain issues, while others think the entire situation is being overanalyzed.
