• Late Sulli’s brother speaks out after people link his post to Kim Soo Hyun—‘I never said his name, stop stirring things up’

The late Sulli’s older brother has spoken up again after his recent cryptic post led many to believe he was talking about actor Kim Soo Hyun.

A few days ago, Sulli’s brother posted on social media, writing, “Mr. Kim. I have a lot to say, but I can’t say it. You’re going to fall from a high place—hold on tight.”

Right away, netizens suspected he was referring to Kim Soo Hyun, since the actor had previously worked with Sulli in the movie Real (2017).

As speculation grew, Sulli’s brother hit back, saying, “How is it that so-called fans are the least helpful? I never even mentioned the name ‘Soo Hyun,’ but people came rushing at me.”

He continued, “It must be driving you crazy not being able to fact-check, huh? I’ve spent years living with just this one thought: ‘Well, I guess it couldn’t be helped.’ It actually helps me stay sane.”

On March 22, he made another post, writing, “Is the word ‘fan’ some kind of royal inspector’s badge? In this situation, who even counts as a fan? To me, you all just look like people trying to tear each other apart.” He also added, “My life, your life, everyone’s life is ‘Real.’”

Meanwhile, Kim Soo Hyun is currently facing major controversy after the family of the late Kim Sae Ron accused him of grooming her. They claim the actor was in a relationship with Kim Sae Ron for six years, starting when she was 15.

At first, Kim Soo Hyun’s agency denied everything, calling it “false information.” But on March 14, they admitted, “Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Sae Ron were in a relationship from the summer of 2019 to the fall of 2020, after Kim Sae Ron became an adult. The claim that he dated her while she was a minor is not true.”

Despite the clarification, online rumors continue to spread, with YouTube exposés fueling the scandal even further.

  • ADOR staff flies to Hong Kong but fails to meet NewJeans—group moves forward without them

Despite the ongoing legal battle between ADOR and HYBE, NewJeans pushed forward with their scheduled performance in Hong Kong—but without their agency’s staff by their side.

On March 21st, the court ruled in favor of ADOR’s injunction, allowing them to continue managing NewJeans and preventing the members from signing independent advertisement deals.

In response, ADOR sent staff to Hong Kong to support the group at ComplexCon on March 23rd. However, reports confirmed that the staff never got to meet the members.

This performance was the first official event that NewJeans arranged on their own, without ADOR’s involvement. The members shared, “After a lot of thought, we decided to perform because we didn’t want to disappoint fans and the people who made this concert possible.”

ADOR previously stated, “Since the court has confirmed our legal status as NewJeans' agency, we are fulfilling our responsibility by sending staff to support them. We wanted to ensure they could perform under their original name rather than NJZ.”

However, ADOR staff were unable to reach the group at the venue, and it remains unclear who assisted NewJeans during the event.

During their performance, the members got emotional as they revealed, “This might be our last stage for a while. Out of respect for the court’s ruling, we have decided to temporarily pause our activities.”

Fighting back tears, they added, “We are mentally and emotionally drained, but we need to take this step to protect ourselves. Only then can we come back stronger.”

After NewJeans' unexpected hiatus announcement, ADOR expressed disappointment, stating, “Despite the court’s decision, the group performed under a different name and unilaterally declared a break, which we find very unfortunate.”

The agency emphasized, “We are committed to supporting NewJeans under the valid contract and hope to meet with the members soon to discuss the future.”

Fans are now left wondering what lies ahead for NewJeans as the conflict between ADOR and HYBE continues.
